Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Rams vs. Englewood Pirates

The Sheridan Rams will challenge the Englewood Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Sheridan and six for Englewood.

On Tuesday, Sheridan took a blow against Bennett, falling 71-5. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Englewood scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 68-45 to Jefferson. The Pirates were down 59-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sheridan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Sheridan was dealt a bruising 57-13 loss at the hands of Englewood in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Sheridan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
