Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Baptist Cougars vs. United Christian Academy Eagles

Calvary Baptist saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rowland. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, United Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by Loma Linda Academy 73-31.

Calvary Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for United Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Calvary Baptist suffered a grim 64-43 defeat to United Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Thankfully for the Cougars, Anthony Basta (who shot 65% from the field on his way to 36 points along with five assists and three steals) won't be suiting up this time.
