Softball Recap: Frisco Sets Scoring Season-High Against Heritage

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frisco). They were the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over the Heritage Coyotes on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Raccoons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Frisco got a massive performance out of Leila Hathaway, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave Hathaway a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Bailee Hodnett, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Frisco's record is now 5-9-1. As for Heritage, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Frisco will head out to square off against Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Lebanon Trail at 2:00 p.m.
