Basketball Recap: Leakey Takes a Loss

Leakey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through an 81-23 loss at the hands of the Utopia Buffaloes. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1761st, while the Buffaloes are ranked 808th).

Leakey's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Utopia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Leakey nor Utopia have any future games scheduled.
