Gray's Creek won the last time they faced Pine Forest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-16.

Gray's Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haylee Wells, who had eight digs and one assist.

Gray's Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Gray's Creek's record is now 2-0. As for Pine Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Gray's Creek and Pine Forest will both be playing Union Pines the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Vikings at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
