Softball Preview: Pomona Panthers vs. Standley Lake Gators
Pomona has gone 4-0 against Standley Lake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Pomona Panthers will welcome the Standley Lake Gators at 10:00 a.m. Pomona is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Pomona made easy work of Dakota Ridge and carried off a 17-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Standley Lake lost 13-3 to Green Mountain on Thursday. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Standley Lake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Feely, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Barrone, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
The win got Pomona back to even at 5-5. As for Standley Lake, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pomona has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game.
