 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Camp Verde ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They walked away with  a   13-9  victory over the Wickenburg Wranglers. The  win was familiar territory for Camp Verde who now have three in a row.
  Aislynn Mulcaire made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  5.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Mulcaire was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Bristol Bickford, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-6.  Karleen Moore was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Like Camp Verde, Wickenburg also got a great game from a two-way player:  Daisy Smith. She  struck out nine batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   11  hits (and not a single walk).
