Soccer Recap: Wapakoneta's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Riverdale on Tuesday, Wapakoneta came back down to earth. The Redskins fell just short of the Kalida Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss put an end to Wapakoneta's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wapakoneta fell to 1-1-1. As for Kalida, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wapakoneta will face off against Maumee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kalida, they will venture away from home to square off against Van Buren at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
