Basketball Recap: Bishop Neumann Takes a Loss

If Bishop Neumann was riding high fresh off their 58-25 takedown of Aquinas last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bishop Neumann Cavaliers took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakland-Craig Knights on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Knights are ranked tenth).

Bishop Neumann's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Oakland-Craig, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Bishop Neumann nor Oakland-Craig have any future games scheduled.
