Volleyball Recap: Elkhorn Extends Winning Streak to Three

Elkhorn entered their tilt with Duchesne on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 21-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Callie Petersen paced Elkhorn's offense, picking up 16 kills. Petersen got some help from Emma Byrd and her 37 assists. Kelsie Holder controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Elkhorn's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Duchesne, they dropped their record down to 8-19 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Elkhorn will host Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Duchesne, they will welcome Wahoo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
