Baseball Recap: Wake Forest Gets the Win

After only two runs in their last matchup, Wake Forest made sure to put some runs up on the board against Apex Friendship on Thursday. The Cougars came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 11-6.

Lucas Stoy looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Wake Forest let Alan Parker and Joseph Hlavacek run wild. Parker went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Hlavacek went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Parker also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Hunter Kisse was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
