It was a good run, but  Kamiak unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell  11-8 to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
  Frances Famatiga was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with four  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emma Stansfield, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Kamiak's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Glacier Peak,  the  win  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kamiak will venture away from home to  square off against Burlington-Edison  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Kamiak is facing Burlington-Edison at the right time seeing as Burlington-Edison is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Glacier Peak, they will square off against Eastmont at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
