Eldred had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-51 W against the Fallsburg Comets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-64 back in January.

Eldred got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Deyermond out in front who posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. With that strong performance, Deyermond is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Trai Kaufmann was another key player, putting up 20 points and six boards.

Eldred pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Fallsburg, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coming up, Eldred will face off against SS Seward at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fallsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
