Everything went their way against the Hitchcock Bulldogs on Tuesday as the Brazos Cougars made off with an 11-4 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Ava Aguilar made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last three matches.
