Basketball Recap: Narragansett Comes Up Short

Narragansett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Raphael Academy Saints. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mariners have suffered since December 28, 2023.

Narragansett's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for St. Raphael Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-10.

Narragansett will venture away from home to take on West Warwick at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in West Warwick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches. As for St. Raphael Academy, they will welcome Woonsocket at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
