Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Point Loma). They put the hurt on the Mar Vista Mariners with a sharp 14-2 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Pointers, who have now won four contests in a row.

On the hitting side, Point Loma got a massive performance out of Avery MacPherson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
