Football Game Preview: Hilton Cadets vs. Victor Blue Devils

Hilton hasn't had much luck against Victor recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cadets will head out on the road to take on the Blue Devils at 7:06 p.m. Hilton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Hilton proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 22) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Aquinas Institute 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cadets have posted since October 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, Victor lost to Brighton on the road by a 29-14 margin on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Although Victor took the loss, they still got scores from Matty Langan and Luke Johnson.

Victor's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hilton, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Hilton might still be hurting after the 25-0 defeat they got from Victor when the teams last played back in October of 2021. Can the Cadets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
