It was a good run, but Oconomowoc unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Catholic Memorial Crusaders, falling 3-0.

Oconomowoc was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-14.

Ryan Romero paced Oconomowoc's offense, picking up six kills. Romero got some help from Nate Karnowski and his 17 assists.

Oconomowoc's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Catholic Memorial, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

As of now, neither Oconomowoc nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
