Volleyball Recap: Solomon Takes a Loss

Solomon was the 2-0 winner over Flint Hills Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gorillas fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Gorillas didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-13 in the first set.

Solomon actually scored more points across those three sets (67-63), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Solomon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Flint Hills Christian, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Solomon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Wakefield on the 13th. Flint Hills Christian has also already played their next game (against Liberty HomeSchool Alliance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
