Aledo faced Mansfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bearcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bearcats' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Aledo's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Karsyn Evans, who had 12 digs and three assists, and Kailey Hamilton, who had ten digs and seven assists.

Among those leading the charge was Natalie Peak, who had ten digs and three assists.

Aledo's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Mansfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.
