Baseball Recap: St. Michael Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

St. Michael had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt West Feliciana on Friday. The Warriors never let the Saints get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted against the Saints since March 7, 2019.

St. Michael's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-16. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for West Feliciana, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 23-10.

St. Michael will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop Shaw on the 22nd. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for West Feliciana, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Avoyelles on the 14th.
