Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Takes Down Tamalpais in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Berkeley rose to the challenge on Saturday. They skirted past the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Berkeley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 13-25, 15-12.

Berkeley is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Tamalpais, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Looking ahead, Berkeley will take on Carondelet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tamalpais does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
