Recap: Tabiona Tigers vs. Carbon Dinos

The Tabiona Tigers entered their tilt with the Carbon Dinos with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Tabiona came out on top against Carbon by a score of 69-57 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tabiona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Rhoades, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was Rhoades' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Peterson, who scored 17 points along with four steals.

Tabiona's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Carbon, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabiona will take on Rich at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Carbon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Richfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday.
