The matchup between Edgewood and Lakeside Lutheran on Friday hardly resembled the 23-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Crusaders strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 49-32. The victory was just business as usual for the Crusaders, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood will challenge Stoughton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they will take on Mount Horeb/Barneveld at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
