Moreno Valley has gone 8-2 against Vista del Lago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Moreno Valley Vikings will take on the Vista del Lago Ravens at 3:15 p.m. Moreno Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Moreno Valley got the win against Cathedral City by a conclusive 14-3.

Mia Licon was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amera Collins, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Moreno Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cathedral City only posted an OBP of .320.

Meanwhile, Vista del Lago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against San Jacinto, falling 17-3.

Destiny Perez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

Moreno Valley's record is now 3-4. As for Vista del Lago, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Moreno Valley might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Vista del Lago when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Moreno Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
