Basketball Recap: Scarborough Takes a Loss

Scarborough was the 59-51 winner over Cheverus when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Scarborough Red Storm took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheverus Stags. The Red Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scarborough now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Cheverus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scarborough will venture away from home to square off against Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scarborough is facing Windham at the right time seeing as Windham is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cheverus, they will challenge South Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Portland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cheverus surely won't give up without a fight.
