The third road game was the charm for Newman Grove/St. Edward, as they earned their first road win of the season. They really took it to the Palmer Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-28 win. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Newman Grove/St. Edward's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Steensnes, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcos Paez, who posted 11 points and five assists.

Newman Grove/St. Edward was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Newman Grove/St. Edward picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Palmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
