Basketball Game Preview: Pennsauken Tech vs. Palmyra Panthers

Pennsauken Tech and Palmyra are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. Pennsauken Tech will be playing at home against the Palmyra Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Pennsauken Tech will be strutting in after a win while Palmyra will be coming in after a loss.

Pennsauken Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Camden Academy Charter for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-36 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Pennsauken Tech had established a 26 point advantage.

Pennsauken Tech's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Omari Spencer, who went 7 of 11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Baker, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

Pennsauken Tech was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Palmyra ended up a good deal behind Haddon Heights on Saturday and lost 65-48.

Pennsauken Tech pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Palmyra, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Things could have been worse for Pennsauken Tech, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-34 loss to Palmyra in their previous matchup back in January of 2024.
