Union is 8-2 against Scott Central since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Yellowjackets will head out to square off against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union has six straight wins, Scott Central has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Union barely beat Sebastopol the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets blew past the Bobcats 17-10 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Union got a massive performance out of Rafe Manning, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Manning has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Lee, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Scott Central's offense. They lost 13-0 to Raleigh on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Scott Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Union got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 against Scott Central by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
