Softball Recap: Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers vs. Altoona Mountain Lions
Hollidaysburg had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Altoona Mountain Lions 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Tigers have posted since March 18th.
Mikaylah Vincent was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. Vincent was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Hollidaysburg got a big performance out of Maggie Hicks, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Hicks a new career-high. Alli Stevens also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
