Basketball Game Preview: Grand Ledge Comets vs. Holt Rams

Grand Ledge and Holt are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Grand Ledge Comets will be playing at home against the Holt Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grand Ledge will be strutting in after a win while Holt will be coming in after a defeat.

Grand Ledge is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since January 23rd on Tuesday. Everything went their way against DeWitt as Grand Ledge made off with a 50-30 win.

Meanwhile, Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 82-47 defeat at the hands of Waverly.

Grand Ledge's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Holt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Things could have been worse for Grand Ledge, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-42 loss to Holt in their previous matchup back in February. Can Grand Ledge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
