Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Franklin has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 2-0 to the Union Grove Broncos on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Franklin couldn't quite close it out.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Union Grove, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Franklin will face off against Indian Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Trail will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Grove, they will take on Burlington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove are facing Burlington at the right time seeing as Burlington are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
