Baseball Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lake Howell Silverhawks by a score of 6-5. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Horizon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Useche, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Lake Howell, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Horizon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Pembroke Pines Charter on the 19th. As for Lake Howell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against Western on the 20th.
