Volleyball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Academy Mustangs. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kathleen Moncus paced Lexington's offense, picking up four kills. Moncus got some help from Katelyn Sullivan and her five assists.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Madison Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rogers on the 26th. As for Madison Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Priceville on the 23rd.
