Baseball Game Preview: Beaumont United Timberwolves vs. Lee Ganders

For the second straight game, Beaumont United will face off against Lee. The Timberwolves will host the Ganders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Beaumont United made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lee, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Ganders by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Timberwolves have suffered since February 27th.

Desmond Griffin made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. Mason Richardson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Beaumont United has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Lee, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.
