Seton and St. Ursula Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Saints will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seton will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, Seton got the win against Sycamore by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Seton was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-10.

Meanwhile, St. Ursula Academy faced Ursuline Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

St. Ursula Academy couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Ursuline Academy a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 10-25, 30-28, 25-20.

Seton will have to keep a close watch on Maddie Cho and Penelope Bolinger, a pair of players who had a big impact on St. Ursula Academy's prior game. Cho had 11 digs and four assists, while Bolinger had 11 digs.

St. Ursula Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.

Everything went Seton's way against St. Ursula Academy in their previous meeting back in September, as Seton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
