While Adamsville put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Huntingdon. The Cardinals came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

The result came thanks to Sophie Edwards's shutout, as she gave up just three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Layla Howard was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Adamsville's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Huntingdon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adamsville will venture away from home to face off against Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huntingdon, they will square off against Stewart County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
