West Wilkes is a perfect 10-0 against North Wilkes since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blackhawks will host the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. West Wilkes will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, West Wilkes got the win against Forbush by a conclusive 8-1. Considering the Blackhawks have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Wilkes fell victim to North Surry and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Greyhounds. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

West Wilkes pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Wilkes, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

West Wilkes took their victory against North Wilkes in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Blackhawks repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
