Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geneva). Their defense stepped up to hand the Conneaut Spartans a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Julia Fallon as she scored four goals for her team.

Geneva's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Conneaut, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Geneva will be playing in front of their home fans against South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conneaut, they will venture away from home to square off against Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
