Basketball Recap: Atkinson County Takes a Loss

Atkinson County played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 75-47 loss at the hands of the Coffee Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Atkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Coffee, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Atkinson County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clinch County at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Coffee and Vidalia will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
