Basketball Game Preview: Buford Wolves vs. Tift County Blue Devils

Buford has gone a perfect 3-0 against Tift County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Buford will be looking to extend their current 25-game winning streak.

On Friday, Buford beat Collins Hill 48-38. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Eagles are ranked 56th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tift County ended up a good deal behind Camden County on Friday and lost 63-46. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Buford's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Tift County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.

Buford was able to grind out a solid win over Tift County when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 80-67. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
