Bloomington South barely beat Columbus East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Olympians on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Olympians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-15.

Bloomington South can attribute much of their success to Charlie Monroe, who had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Monroe has posted since September 2nd.

Monroe wasn't the only good servers: Bloomington South was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbus East only served five.

Bloomington South's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Columbus East, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington South will face off against Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbus East, they will challenge Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
