Soccer Recap: Silas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Lincoln last Thursday, Silas came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Gig Harbor Tides on Tuesday, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Silas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Gig Harbor are ranked 26th).

Silas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Gig Harbor, they pushed their record up to 9-0-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Silas will challenge rival Central Kitsap at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gig Harbor is set to square off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
