Arrupe Jesuit barely beat Lake County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Generals blew past the Panthers 3-0 on Tuesday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Arrupe Jesuit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake County between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-17.

Ashley Padilla Martinez paced Arrupe Jesuit's offense, picking up eight kills. Padilla Martinez got some help from Yulisa Garcia and her 20 assists. Padilla Martinez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Monse Perea, racking up three apiece.

Arrupe Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lake County, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
