Soccer Recap: Middlebridge Starts Season with Victory Against Franklin Academy

Middlebridge took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Franklin Academy Phoenix 9-2. With Middlebridge ahead 4-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Franklin Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Rhode Island School for the Deaf on the 19th. Hopefully Middlebridge paid attention to the Phoenix's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
