Football Recap: Keith Kliewer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sutton over Bloomfield

Sutton and Bloomfield squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sutton had to settle for second. They fell 34-26 to the Bees.

Sutton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keith Kliewer, who threw for 106 yards and two TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 65 yards.

It was another big night for Brock Jeannoutot, who rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry for Bloomfield. That's the most rushing yards Jeannoutot has posted since back in September.

Sutton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bloomfield, their record now sits at 7-2.

Sutton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Shelby-Rising City on Friday. The Bees will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
