East Gaston proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Burns Bulldogs 1-0. East Gaston haven't had any issues with Burns recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

East Gaston's one-goal win came courtesy of Alexa Cloninger, who's now up to three this season.
