There's no place like home for Colusa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the East Nicolaus Spartans on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the RedHawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Colusa's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jace MacKaben, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Kane Nall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Colusa is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Nicolaus, their record now sits at 10-9.

Colusa will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
