Soccer Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington fell victim to Limestone and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Rockets. While losing is never fun, Bloomington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Limestone are ranked 145th).

Bloomington has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Limestone, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington will host Richwoods at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Limestone, they will be playing at home against Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
