Recap: Cane Ridge Ravens vs. Lawson Lightning
There's no place like home for the Cane Ridge Ravens, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They took down Lawson 69-53 on Tuesday. The win was just what Cane Ridge needed coming off of a 75-54 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cane Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaiden Pugh, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals. Da'ron Hall was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Cane Ridge pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points per game. As for Lawson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cane Ridge will take on Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Franklin is ranked 85th, while Cane Ridge is ranked 83rd). As for Lawson, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hunters Lane at 7:30 p.m. Hunters Lane is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
